How to Rank Up in Devil Hunter
Complete guide to ranking up in Devil Hunter. Learn about all Public Safety and Yakuza ranks, how to earn XP, complete rank requirements, and progress through the hunter ranking system.
What is Rank?
Rank is a key feature of character progression in Devil Hunter. Your rank represents your standing within your chosen faction and unlocks new opportunities as you advance.
Faction-Dependent
Your rank depends on which faction you're part of - either Public Safety HQ or the Yakuza Building. Each faction has its own ranking system.
Character Progression
Increasing your rank is essential for character progression. Higher ranks give you access to better content, more respect in the community, and prove your dedication to the game.
How to Rank Up
Ranking up in Devil Hunter follows a straightforward progression system:
Earn 5 Stars
Each rank requires you to earn all 5 stars before you can increase by one rank. Each star requires reaching a certain amount of XP.
Complete Rank Tasks
Most stars are earned by reaching XP milestones, but the fifth star for some ranks requires completing a specific task (number of kills, world events won, etc.).
Rank Up
After collecting all 5 stars, you can rank up once. Then repeat the process for the next rank!
💡 Progression Flow: Earn XP → Get Stars → Complete Tasks → Rank Up → Repeat. Earning XP becomes easy once you know what activities to focus on!
How to Get XP Fast
For efficient XP farming and ranking up, focus on these activities:
Complete Quests
Pick up every quest you find when exploring. Work through quests and complete them to earn XP as a reward. This is the most consistent XP source.
Defeat Devils
For every Devil you defeat, you get XP! Hunt down devils in the open world or complete devil-specific quests for consistent XP gains.
Complete Raids
Participate in Raids and complete them for XP rewards. Raids offer substantial XP and can be farmed during cooldowns.
Win World Events
Some rank tasks require winning world events. These also grant XP, making them doubly valuable for progression.
⚡ Pro Tip: Combine multiple activities! While exploring for quests, defeat any devils you encounter. Queue for raids during cooldowns. This multi-tasking approach maximizes your XP per hour!

Prerequisite

Get the Quest
Pick up a special quest from the Yakuza Leader at the Yakuza hideout. This quest will initiate your transfer to the Yakuza faction.
Complete the Task
You are tasked with defeating Public Safety members. This typically requires killing a certain number of Public Safety players to prove your loyalty to the Yakuza.

Rank Up Tips & Strategies
🎯 Always Be Questing
Pick up every quest you see. Quests provide consistent XP and often have kill requirements that count toward both quest completion and rank task progress. Multi-tasking saves time!
⚔️ Focus on Devils for Public Safety
Public Safety members should prioritize hunting devils. Every devil defeated gives XP and contributes to your hunter duties. Combine devil hunting with quest completion for maximum efficiency.
🏢 Don't Forget Raids
Raids offer massive XP rewards and can be completed regularly during cooldowns. Even if you can't solo them, group up for efficient raid farming.
⭐ Watch for Rank Tasks
The 5th star often requires a specific task (kills, events won, etc.). Check your rank requirements regularly and focus on completing those tasks when you're close to ranking up.
🤝 Join a Clan
Being in a clan makes progression easier. You can group up for devils, raids, and world events. Organized clans clear content faster and help each other rank up.
