Complete guide to the surgery kit in Devil Hunter. Learn how to buy it, use it for reviving teammates, and harvest body parts.

What is the Surgery Kit?

The surgery kit is an essential item in Devil Hunter used for multiple purposes:

✓ Revive Teammates

Revive downed teammates during missions and combat

✓ Hybrid Conversion

Perform surgery to convert humans into hybrids

✓ Harvest Body Parts

Use on downed players to harvest arms, legs, eyes, and hearts

📋 Required For: Division 6 starting quest requires you to use a surgery kit. If you chose Division 6, you'll need to buy and use this item!

Where to Buy Surgery Kit

1

Go to Division 2 Room in HQ

Head to Division 2 room in Headquarters. This is located on Floor 1 of HQ.

2

Find the Shop on the Left Side

Once inside Division 2 room, look for the shop on the left side of the room.

3

Purchase Surgery Kit

Interact with the shop and purchase the surgery kit.

💰 Cost: 3,500 Yen. Make sure you have enough money before visiting the shop!

💡 Quick Tip: Division 2 also houses the crafting table, so it's a useful room to know for multiple purposes!

How to Use Surgery Kit

Using the surgery kit is simple, but you need to do it correctly:

1

Find a Downed Body

Look for a downed teammate or player. This can be during missions, PvP, or after combat.

⚠️ Important: The body must be downed (not gripped). Surgery kits work on downed players, not gripped ones. Some people also attack the other player, and then use the surgery kit on the player.

2

Approach the Downed Body

Walk up close to the downed body until you're standing next to them.

3

Hold Left Click (Mouse 1)

Hold the left mouse button (Mouse 1) to use the surgery kit. Do NOT just click once - you must hold it down.

Key Points:

  • Hold left click - don't button mash
  • ✓ Wait until the action completes
  • ✓ You'll see a progress indicator or animation
  • ✓ The surgery kit will be consumed after use
4

Complete the Action

Continue holding until the surgery is complete. The result depends on what you're doing:

Reviving: Teammate will be revived and can fight again

Harvesting: You'll obtain body parts (arms, legs, eyes, hearts)

Hybrid Conversion: Surgery will be performed on the target

Surgery Kit Uses

1. Reviving Teammates (Squad Play)

Essential for team missions and raids. When a teammate goes down, use surgery kit to revive them so they can continue fighting.

Best for: Squad players, raid teams, co-op missions

2. Harvesting Body Parts

Use surgery kit on downed enemy players to harvest valuable body parts: arms, legs, eyes, and hearts.

  • Humans: Use body parts for devil contracts or sell to black market
  • Fiends: Eat body parts for Fear XP

3. Hybrid Conversion (Advanced)

Perform surgery to convert humans into hybrids - an advanced progression path combining human and fiend abilities.

Note: This is an advanced mechanic for experienced players

4. Division 6 Quest Requirement

If you chose Division 6, you must use a surgery kit as part of your starting quest. Simply use it once on any downed body to complete this requirement.

Common Mistakes

❌ "I clicked but nothing happened"

You need to hold left click, not just click once. Keep the mouse button pressed down until the action completes.

❌ "Surgery kit doesn't work on this body"

Make sure the body is downed, not gripped. Surgery kits only work on downed players. If someone is being gripped, you cannot use surgery kit on them.

❌ "I can't find the shop in Division 2"

The shop is on the left side of the Division 2 room. Make sure you're in the correct division room (Division 2, not Division 1 or 3).

❌ "I don't have enough money"

Farm yen by completing missions, defeating devils/players, or eating devil flesh. You need 3,500 yen to buy the surgery kit.

Pro Tips

Always carry one: If you play in squads, always have at least one surgery kit in your inventory for emergency revives

Body part farming: Use surgery kits on downed enemies after PvP to harvest valuable body parts for contracts or Fear

Division 2 location: Remember where Division 2 shop is - you'll need it for both surgery kits and weapon crafting

One-time use: Each surgery kit is consumed after use, so stock up if you do a lot of squad play
